You might see weeds, but I see wild flowers

Sunny days in MK

The last few days here in Milton Keynes have been warm and sunny. Perfect for taking pictures on our morning dog walks.

Blossom tree opposite the Open University, Walton.

This little area has been a magnet for some of our spring migrants. Chiffchaff, Willow Warbler, Blackcap and Whitethroat.

Quite a few Linnets have been visible near the offices of the OU, in Kents Hill.

By the river, near the OU, a large tree has an interesting fungus growing on it.

The Blue Tits always seem to pose to perfection.

Jays have been quite vocal at the moment, with lots of activity.

Some days we ventured over to Caldecotte Lake.

At the moment there are a lot of Swallows, Sand Martins and House Martins skimming over the water.

Not easy to get good flight shots.

One bird that did give me some 'good' pictures, was this chap.

Yellow Wagtail

And finally, a reminder that this is a busy time of the year for our birds.

A Robin, with some food for his young.

Enjoy your day
